Nearly two years later Recycool is now launching the Recycooler™, a recyclable, disposable cooler that is designed to meet the demands of green thinking consumers.
The Recycooler™ is available in 6, 12, and 24 pack sizes. Each lid is fully insulated “keeping items cool in even the hottest of conditions.” The unit is made from a minimum of 60% post consumer content, and carries five brandable areas, being the Recycooler™ top and all four sides. The Recycooler™ is printed with soy-based inks. They are made in the U.S.A.
According to Pete Galbiati, National Director, Sales & Marketing, Recycool Inc., the minimum 60% post consumer designation actually refers to the cellulose insulation. Part of the reason the cooler is so unique is the patent pending design using cellulose board material. The material is made from a minimum 60% post-consumer product, basically recycled magazines and papers. The exterior is made from corrugated material – which is a paper product as well and recyclable.
“One of the main benefits of the cooler is the fact that it is very durable and the insulation properties are outstanding. However, when you are finally done with it — just discard it in a recycling bin”, said Galbiati.
