FABRIC OUTERWEAR: 100% Polyester 240T woven with water resistant coating (600mm) and water repellent finish, 80g/m² (2.4 oz/yd²).

We continue to see more packable jackets coming to market. These light weight jackets are great for daily commuters because the jacket is there when you need it and easily put away when you don’t. If your company is doing a healthy living program, a good package jacket is a nice incentive, maybe with a pedometer or water bottle, with the goal of getting people to walk more.

Into the mix of packable jackets comes the Rincon Eco Packable Jacket, which is 100% recycled polyester. The Rincon Eco Packable Jacket has a fashion friendly design, and is available in 5 colors options, including White/Silver, Black/Silver, Vintage Red, Metro Blue, and Loden Green (shown).

Because the Rincon Eco Packable Jacket is a PCNA product, there a number of decoration options, including embroidery, full color transfer, apparel deboss, and laser engrave. Or mix and match decoration options to create a truly unique garment for your employees or events. Decoration placement can be nearly anywhere on the Rincon Eco Packable Jacket, front chest, front panels, back, yoke, sleeves, shoulders, etc.

From the manufacturer, “Good for your style, even better for the planet. The Rincon is made with recycled polyester and even has recycled zipper tape. It’s also wind- and water-resistant with a roll-away hood to keep you drier longer and it’s got a mesh lining and breathable back vents to keep you cool and comfy. Color pop details for extra style points. It even packs away into a built-in stuff sack for easy stowing.”

If you are interested in these products to promote your own business, or if you wish to see some samples, email info@proformagreen.com for information and pricing.

And as always, if you really want to do something sustainable, do not buy promotional products. All products are consumption at one level or another. So if you must buy, 1) Buy local (i.e. made in USA), 2) Buy useful, long lasting items, 3) Buy sustainable/recycled/recyclable products if possible.
