The evolve(TM) line from Norwood seems to be doing a bit of evolving itself.
Norwood now offers two new cyclist style water bottles in the line, the evolve(TM) Sport Bottle 20 oz. and the evolve(TM) Sport Bottle 28 oz.
Both bottles are made in the USA and certified BPA free. Like the rest of the evolve(TM) line, these water bottles are made from biodegradable high density polypropylene ethylene. Both come in natural opaque or white body finish.
[social_buttons]The bottles are listed by Norwood as biodegradable within 1 to 5 years in managed landfill, and the bottles ship with a hang-tag that can be passed on to end users to educate them about evolve(TM) and the use of biodegradable materials in general.
More to the point, since the bottles do not look eco on their face, the purpose of the hang-tag is get the public to go “hey, someone just gave me a biodegradable water bottle, neat.” The bottom of the evolve(TM) Sport Bottle – 20 oz. and evolve(TM) Sport Bottle – 28oz. are also marked as made from biodegradable materials and sport the evolve logo.
If you are an Ecopreneurist marketing to the cyclist, gym, or outdoors crowd this is a bottle to look at. As a hiking bottle I like the evolve(TM) Sport Bottle because if it gets lost in the woods eventually it will break down, and do so much faster than a traditional petrochemical based plastic bottle – which I guess really never goes away.
Imprinting on the evolve(TM) Sport Bottle is great, with a 1 side standard imprint area of 3-1/2″w x 3-1/2″h at 4 colors maximum, plus an optional rim imprint of 3-1/2″w x 3/4″h at 4 colors maximum for the neck of the larger 28oz. bottle.
In addition both bottles can be done with a huge optional wrap around at 8″w x 3-1/2″h, again with the optional rim imprint at a full 8″w x 3/4″h, 4 color(s) maximum.
Unfortunately the stock images on the Norwood site do not show off this large print area, but trust me, when the maximum area is used on these bottles they look very impressive.
EPQ on the 20oz bottle is $1.20 with one color imprint. For the 28oz add $0.10 to make it $1.30 per unit.
