Recycled Messenger Bag New from Gemline

13 Jan

This is a guest post by John Simonetta, owner of an eco-friendly promotional items consultancy (see proformagreen.com). John’s blogs are designed to keep us up to date on the “greening” of his industry.

Gemline, one of our favorite manufacturers for the style and quality of their green line of promotional items, is starting 2009 strong with the introduction of a number of new, green products.

In 2009 Gemline will start carrying nonwoven totes (#5 plastic) as well as totes from 51% Recycled PET fabric, (Leads also sells 51% Recycled PET products which they carry in their very successful Owl line).

One of the new 51% Recycled PET totes, the Recycled Mercury Messenger Bag, caught our eye and is certainly targeted at the young and hip crowd. This tote should work great for any urban Ecopreneurists going after that demographic in their marketing efforts.

Since it is designed as a messenger bag it also works for bike store or events promoting biking to work as an alternative to cars, etc. Or really any business looking for a functional, fashionable 51% recycled PET fabric tote.

At 17.5″L x 12″H x 5″W this is a good size bag with front zippered pockets, an adjustable shoulder strap and expandable side pockets for water bottles and other accessories. Bags come in blue, green or black and can be embroidered or screen printed. EQP on these bags is $22.98 with logo.

For more information on the Recycled Mercury Messenger take a look at Gemline’s website or contact us at info@proformagreen.com.
