Organic Cotton Bags Getting Less Expensive

20 Sep

This is a guest post by John Simonetta, owner of ProformaGreen, an eco-friendly promotional items consultancy. John’s blogs are designed to keep us up to date on the “greening” of his industry.

Non Woven Poly bags are great but many of our clients don’t like non wovens and keep asking when an inexpensive organic cotton tote would be available.

Well the new Econo Tote Bag from Debco seems to fit the bill at 14.75” W x 16.5” with runs under $2 for orders over 1000 units and starts around $3.50 for a small run of 50 units with one color imprint included. These bags are 100% natural organic cotton processed AZO-Free with no hazardous chemicals.

We have mentioned higher end natural cotton totes like the ones from Gemline. They are great for businesses like spas and high-end retailers that are looking for more hardy totes. For inexpensive and useful bags for farmer’s markets and the like, I think Debco’s Econo is the way to go.

For more information take a look at the Debco and Gemline websites or write to us at info@proformagreen.com

These look great, as do many of the products on their site. Anyone know if they are a wholesaler?

    Will,

Gemline and Debco are wholesale to the promotional products industry. You normally need to be a member of ASI to buy from them as they generally do not sell to the public but through ASI distributors.

Proforma is a promotional products distributor to businesses and organizations. If your not ASI you likely will need to go through a promotional products distributor like ProformaGreen to purchase these items or any other items mentioned in this blog.

The promotional products distributor will also work with you to create your artwork for imprinting of the bags or other items.

Please contact me at john@proformagreen.com if you have any other questions.
